It all began with Skipping.
THE MISSION
Since 2014, Angela has worked to rescue and heal children who survive the horrors of sex trafficking.
Driven by a deep commitment to child protection, I spent years volunteering for various rescue organizations before recognizing a critical gap in public awareness. This led me to launch the SkippyDeeDooDah Skip-a-Thon, a high-energy outdoor fundraising rally centered on the theme of "SKIPPING for those who SKIPPED a childhood.
I am also currently revitalizing Original Artist, a broadcast entertainment series that previously achieved significant industry milestones. The original 12-week interactive seasons and five successful pilots culminated in a series agreement with FOX/20th Television. Although that partnership faced a network cancellation, the project provided a powerful blueprint for large-scale audience engagement and high-quality production execution.
Today, Original Artist has been reimagined to serve future audiences with purpose-driven platform, bridging the gap between entertainment and advocacy to fund restoration efforts for exploited children.
My ultimate long-term vision is the development of "Resorts of Restoration," beginning with the NewEarthNewHeaven initiative. This project is conceptualized as a signature luxury residential and resort community designed to serve both the high-end vacation market and, most importantly, the specialized housing needs of rescued children and their foster families. The goal is to build a secure, world-class environment that funds long-term aftercare and provides a nurturing community where survivors of trafficking can truly thrive and heal.
The beginning of SkippyDeeDooDah : Angela’s story:
“In 2014, I began understanding that there was a human trafficking crisis ( thought it was a European problem only). So I began volunteering and donating to servant minded organizations that I found and trusted to be accountable with finances, and free from corruption.
Earlier, In 2013 I began learning the benefits of skipping and incorporated it into my workouts (usually late at night when I couldn’t be seen). I found myself always humming “zippity do da” from the old Disney movie eventually convinced two “fitness friends' ' that were goofy enough to occasionally join me in a skip. I discovered it was much less embarrassing to be adults skipping in a group. Our adult HAPPY exercise would always get smiles, honks, and waves from those passing by to see adults skipping. After all, skipping is just for children, right?
Eventually, my friends learned on our skips of the child sex trafficking crisis and wanted to help end these crimes against children.
One night while I was skipping, conversing with God., usually humming the old Disney movie tune “zippity do da”...as I approached a stop sign. My heart turned to the cries of the trafficked, the enslaved children. It was at that stop sign, I received : “Think about all the suffering trafficked children that SKIPPED a happy childhood. I want you to SKIP for those that SKIPPED an innocent childhood.”
And SkippyDeeDooDah was born!
p.s. To date, I have not been called to operate a non-profit organization, but ONLY to raise resources to directly FUND established non-profits that are already actively and intensely working to eradicate child traffickibg ….therefore SkippyDeeDooDah exists to SERVE another honorable non-profit organization.

It all began with blow drying my hair.
Launched in 2004 during my time at Clear Channel Television, this creation began while I was working as an account executive, collaborating with clients to develop content for their advertising campaigns.
It was during this period that I realized the incredible branding power that music could offer to my clients.
I actively sought out every opportunity to engage songwriters to write and record custom branding songs tailored to my clients and their products. These fully developed music campaigns successfully drove product sales and significantly elevated brand recognition for all participating music branding clients.
win-win
the moment of inspiration
In 2004, while reflecting on the debut season of American Idol during my daily routine, I experienced a powerful creative breakthrough. I realized that the industry was missing a platform for authentic musical originality and self-composed works.
This vision, which I attribute to the ultimate Creator, provided a comprehensive blueprint for a groundbreaking music competition focused on undiscovered songwriters.
The concept arrived with strategic clarity, detailing a primetime broadcast structure that utilized local radio program directors as expert judges and featured a multi-genre format spanning four distinct musical categories.
I immediately transitioned into intensive development and sponsorship procurement, securing full corporate approval and management support within just two weeks of the initial concept.
This rapid execution led to a successful campaign launch shortly thereafter, culminating in a high-production finale recorded before a live stadium audience at Hank Aaron Stadium in Mobile, Alabama.

One milestone led to another, and my business partner and I opened a complete Creative House & Recording Studio, operating as an advertising agency focused specifically on our clients’ branding music.
Driven by my partner’s brilliant buildout of a gorgeous recording and film studio, we were incredibly blessed to collaborate with such wonderful team members and clients. This downtown Mobile, Alabama studio served as the ultimate creative hub, providing the perfect environment to produce multiple pilots across various broadcast TV network affiliates to build our case. Ultimately, our Saturday primetime ratings completely CRUSHED the competition, outperforming every other network—including their own affiliate networks across ABC, NBC, FOX, MY, and UPN!*

Original Artist Trivia
Originally, in 2004, The 13 week contest was called Shooting Star - (named after BAD CO.’s song about songwriter that made the big time) . Subsequently the project was renamed with a more fitting ORIGINAL ARTIST name in 2009.
I still posses the 2004 FIRST show’s laminated pass!
Series picked up!
During my first national network pitch for Original Artist at the FOX Tower in Beverly Hills, CA, in 2010, a certain president of 20th FOX/Television flatly told me, “Nobody’s interested in new music. NO ONE is going to watch some unknown songwriter - some unknown music…hmmph…people don’t like music they’ve never heard. This show will never work.”
“But I have absolute PROOF! Our ratings are dominating!” Angela insisted.
During an unprecedented two-hour meeting in Hollywood, Meidel reluctantly agreed to terms, leading us to sign a programming agreement for an episodic pilot series for Original Artist.
Even with undeniable proof of success, Meidel and FOX remained unconvinced of the show's long-term potential. Within a few months, they canceled the contract and pulled the series.
~~Though completely crushed at the time, looking back years later, I am deeply thankful for every single closed door. Moving on allowed me to realize that the deceptive environment of Hollywood was never where I belonged.
